The Hudson River is a Great trip for the experienced an the unexperienced fisherman who wants to catch a lot of HUGE Smallmouths. The is the only time of the year I use "LIVE BAIT" shiners.

The trip must be a full day and your responsible for the bait(which I will pick up the night before) an 1/2 of the travel expense. It takes approx. 1.5 hrs to get there and begin fishing. Recommended is a nice thermos of hot coffee or hot chocolate which can be gotten up there.
